You...

You...

A Poem by redrumdog31
"

One of my older poems may not be all that great.

"
You have lied to me countless of times,
Never meant every word that you had spoken.
Every time you apologized to me
I forgave you, but then you go and brake me again.

I no longer can trust you
Nor can I let you come back to me.
To come back again and let you in
I cannot risk my heart to be shattered even more.

Even though you come back to me
Saying that you need me to mend you.
But the thing is...
I do not know what needs to be mended.

You will not let me in
Like I let you.
To get inside
I must break the shell you have put up.

Is this what they mean?
That love is tough?
I can surly say
That you make love a chore that I can do.

And that I would not trade this chore for anything in the world.

You're right, love is tough, but things always get better :D Well written I thought, but I also felt like we could have used a bit more background and information about your characters, and a bit more plot. :D All in all well done.
