"Brightly Shine"

This poured out my heart in a matter of five minutes right before I prayed. My heart wanted to praise. So I began to write everything it whispered to me.

LORD I am thankful for Your days and Your nights.

I am thankful for Your ways that are so right.

Blessed is this troubled heart of mine,

because in this darkness You brightly shine.

Tears in my eyes, You wipe them away.

Promising this PAIN shall not forever stay.

I suffer long with You.

Does my enduring prove this heart's confession to be true?

Was so lost in my old ways; those things in me just suppressed my soul, but no more.
