Even after many sufferings, everything ends well

Dawn

In the darkness of the silent night

Conflicts and pain is my only sight

I crash into problems unforeseen

Lost is the happiness of the light

As these great Sufferings fades through me

A lovely and wondrous light I see

And in that light my pain disappears

From the prison of knives, I am free

The night of conflict is now at past

All pain and problems is gone at last

The dawn of happiness has risen

The dawn of day has arrived at last

Its almost always something painful or hurtful that seems unlock talent and gift we never knew we had until something or someone triggers it . Somehow its not the happiness the catalyst . I like this . Its your debut and birthplace .

For some odd reason, I find myself thinking of Egyptian myth when I read this poem. The lines make me think of the Sun God Ra, battling the serpent of Chaos, Apep. Excellent use of symbolism. This poem is my favorite among your writings.

Nice metaphore and symbolsm through the piece:) It reminds me of a song lyric "there may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning". It ca also be seen as an interpritation of the seasons of life. Nice poem! Though i think you can draw it out:) Well done!
