Regret

For the contest

What can go wrong when you are all alone?

Who will be around to see the flying stones?

For the things I’ve done that I can’t speak of,

All of the ways that I’ve pushed away true love.

 

When you see it fall you know what you really had

Nothing but the best and now it’s all gone bad

You try to pull it back, you see what you need

But the nonconformist views put you on your knees.

 

You yell to the sky but no one really cares

They simply walk around giving you angry glares

You just wanna die, for what you lost was the best

But you’re by yourself without all of the rest.
