Another Needlin' poem

Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees.

I just get the feeling that there are pine needles

needlin' me.

It's been another one of those needlin' days.

Someone trying to give me a subtle message

their opinion

About what I should be doing with my life.

What they think would make someone else's life more comfortable.

Nothing to do with me.

Been annoyed all day and didn't know it.

'Cause, someone, somethings been needlin' me.

Not been able to concentrate all day.

Somebody tryin' to convince me being abused in God's name is ok.

well, now!

That thinking is dead.

Charlie, Anne and all the white horses -  wake up!

I know the forest from the trees.

and exactly what and who is needlin' me.

No dream. No fantasy.

An uncrossable boundary.
