Traits of the Fey

Traits of the Fey

A Poem by Rhea752

Demonically sinister
Angelically fair
Such are the traits of the Fey
Pale pale skin
Luminescent wings
Cold cold eyes
Twisted smiles
Such are the traits of the Fey
Earning your trust
Then quickly betraying it
Supporting your needs
Then stabbing you in the back
Such are the traits of the Fey
They are visible
But not tangible
These malicious creatures
Are your dark side
Whispering treacherous words
Corrupting your judgement
Flitting inside your own soul
Such are the traits of the Fey

All of it true. In my eye's anyway. You could say I'm a Fae expert (well not really...I've just read a LOT of books about them) They are deceptive, trust stealing, beautiful and horrifying all at the same time. They're all pretty much like this, it's in their nature, but not all of them will stick to their behavours.
Wondeful poem! Love it

I liked it but I'll admit at first I was confused but that was until I read the comments and reread the first few lines.:)

Ur Welcome:)
What a wonderful piece! The battle of the demons that reside within.... Bringing us to acknowledge the darkness within us all. Nicely done!

stabbing you in the back doesn't quite match the diction in the rest of the piece. other than that good work.

Creepy...
The only fey I done heard about is Sookie Stackhouse and she only got mind reading and microwave fingers. Wouldn't be surprised if there be fey that are really like this. Keep it up

Wow, this is exceptional. I love the dark tone of it all, the amazing imagery and description of the Fey. Beautiful enchantment once again :)
