A Writer's Confession

A Writer's Confession

A Poem by Herl Rodrin

A blot of blah...

The continuous blotting of words
metastasizing in my shattered frame,
Nourishing my voracious brain with thoughts
that only my unconscious mind
could grasp and digest.
Quenching the thirst of my lips
from voicing out my soul.
Waking up my sleepy veins
and prompting my comatose little hands
to drop a line.
Showering my lethargic feet
with ideas to jump
and cross the bizarre street of life..

Fathoming things what a mediocre eyes
couldn't be perceived and captured
is one of my life's greatest obsession.
From the mundane moments
to the ones that will be cherished

wooooh, this is so ayus! :) One thing I loved about this so much is that it has a meaning as a whole. It's holistic though it has unfamiliar choice of words. Most of the poems that have a range of vocab seems to exaggerated. Deep Vocab but has a shallow meaning. No complexity. Beautiful words but make not sense. It really annoys me. But this just great!
