Take A Look

It's just something that I think. Basically, it's all about what's happening in this world. So, hope you give a read ;)

Take a look around,

The world is in despair.

Obviously, it makes my head spin round and round

Life is so much unfair!

Turn around and take a look at the poverty-stricken lives

Aren't they in a condition that is pathetic?

Two square meals is the only thing for what the strive

Why can't we be so down-to-earth to give them something they call unrealistic?!

Move around and take a look at all those lives,

Stuck up in circumstances they don't deserve

Haven't they lost up all their reasons to smile?

Yes, and happiness of these lives is something to be conserved.

Just bother to take a look at how greedy the world is

A man kills a man and loses all his humanity.

He kills his mates and finds money something worth bring kissed

And he forces a woman to loose all her femininity.

And now just take a look around

And wonder, was it meant to be?

Take a look at all the pathetic situations in which man is found

He always commits a crime and then flees.

Is this what God thought when he made up the human kind?

Was it He who wished the human life to be a punishment?

Is this all he wanted to find?

Didn't he want to live in contentment?

So, just take a look around

And wonder if it was meant to be?!!

Well, there is just one thing I would like to say, except the usual, forget the grammatical errors and blah blah, "just take a look around, and wonder, was it meant to be?"

You nailed the lid on this one and spoke truth with your beautiful words. For some reason I believe the world is waking from its state of slumber and greed. The stretch has begun and the eyes are blinking at the destruction that few have caused. Your poem reflects that need. I admire it greatly. Good job.
