Oh Lord

Oh Lord

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

to be felt deeply ;)

"
Oh Lord
My prayers, oh Lord
as graces pour over
mind and soul,
I see.
Clearly Your way,
oh Lord
Should so softly be,
"Easy off"
in cleansing me.
Sorry Lord!
Its just that change
in deep, hidden places
corrupt ......         poisons .....
Your
Rivers running.

At last I have a minute to review this one....

One of those saying a 1000 ideas in only a few words.....and it is hard to explain, until one has actually experience what it means to find that grace.....some may appreciate the poetic aspect, but it can only truly be experienced when you find the real thing....:)

Thanks for this one, buddy.....

So I'm reading along, feeling all pious and not at all of the earthly world, then Wham! I'm hit with the modern. Cleaning my soul like it was an oven. All those burnt globs of sin like greasy rivers of cleansing agents running into the bottom drawer of my faith.
The song was your inspiration?

There is an appreciation that the divine has for his children when they struggle to maintain any type of relationship with him. I've cursed him a thousand times. A Jekyll and Hyde relationship to be sure. We are so flawed, aint we? This is a very good poem. You continue in surprising me with your handiwork. CD

you know the deep sigh of relief you feel when the weight of the world is picked up off your shoulders and you can take in an actual full breath and release it? that is what this reminds me of. What a blessing it is to know that your worries, your troubles, your needs are not only heard, but help is but a request away. I will never forget the day the footprint poem was explained to me. I was a little girl but the thought that someone loved me that much that they wouldn't ever leave my side gave me such comfort when I needed it. faith can carry us through the darkest of times. Nicely done E. ((big hugs))

We try, we try, and being mortal, we often fail. The most important thing to God, and to ourselves, I think is that we continue to try, hard as it is, and keep the dialogue open in prayer. Beautiful, eloquent testament to this "trying". Thank you E.-loved it.

Such a unique piece, E...leaves me thinking and turning the words over and over. You give just enough to tantalize...leaving so much unsaid...which allows most readers to connect on a personal level as the words weave into their experiences, as well as reflecting your own. Truly a great piece.
