Forever Yours

Forever Yours

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

Agony - Album on Imgur

(album on Ingur)
Forever Yours
thunder shakes loose the lightning
rips apart roiling dark clouds and

the rain pours down

the sagacity of her apophony astounds the most astute
her leisure hours spent to weary dowers
they fall leaden at her feet
she skewers them on pikes

"Can't we get back the way it was? ... "  she said.

i couldn't speak

i was dumbed numb

it was the words
it was the presentation
it was all of that on steroid replay

hitting the mark ... constricting chest to throat

obstructing

                             words                                worlds

haven't the heart to toss it
perhaps just sell my lot and stock

leave.

her breast wears  hard rocks
she filed away her pounding nails
while flailing at her skillet
drawing them out red hot and ready

her breath came rasped and rattled
and cursed her conscience battled

my defense badly mounted
cut short and pronounced
me
                                                                     helplessly guilty
helplessly guilty

You gave me everything then
You gave me no ...................thing
                                                                     the no thing was more
and you wanted me to follow you  .................. a real something
some                            thing
tuning my ear with your bending strings and
cry                                     cry                              cry
wanting money, your fame how you
try                                      try                              try
what about good bye?

These lines speak to me of how people can find themselves on different pathways within a relationship. It sort of creeps up over you and then you realise that the person you thought you were perfectly in tune with has already left the building in spirit if not in body. It is a painful experience and I can feel the conflict here. You are worlds apart. Their values are not yours. When it gets to that stage, goodbye is the best solution. You can not live a lie. I felt the storm Mr E. It was raging, it was torture.

Damn! You really know how to make your readers squirm! This is a pretty excruciating sideshow at the devastation of someone's whatever! Thank you for reminding me why I never got married. Being the youngest of 9, I got to see all those nasty splits haunting my older siblings, over their formative years & it was about as ugly as this, but I think you pumped the excruciation factor more in this version of s**t hitting the fan. I was very much feeling every badass inch of this one (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I like the sustained repetition in the piece underlining the details, particularly, the "helplessly guilty" because I think we may each and every one relate to that feeling thinking back on lost love or circumstance. On another note, I searched for your profile in the search engine here and it tells me your page does not exist. Something's not right with that. I finally just went back to your review and navigated back that way. Hope your day is wonderful. Cheers, F.

When the the give
and take is not on
the same page the
relationship seldom
works out ..always wanting
more is a selfish attitude
when you give nothing in
return..but he won't leave
he's too involved hoping
desperately to rekindle
something..anything ..when
he really should realize it's
over..and a goodbye is in
order..nice work here Mr.E

Sometime we find people seeking sameness for a second. Many people wanting everything and seeking more. Hard always seeking the door before the places of happiness. A goodbye is needed. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Some poems are like a movie on a 70 MM stereophonic screen, they play out so well in the reader's head. Like this poem, which is vivid, animated, colourful and lively! It revved up my imagination so well. Your portrayal is interesting and intense and so very amusing too. With her hard breasts and pounding nails, she is a master at skewering them! On a serious note sir, a relationship with a shrew can only go one way! Out the Exit Door! That is, if the poor guy so battered and cumbered with guilt can make iton his two feet! There are so many facets to your words here, a single reading won't be enough and I will definitely be returning for more. Kudos sir!

I wonder if we stood in the other person's place we'd feel differently. Gender's emotions can behave so cruelly, or is it the hidden hold on how to behave, how to be. We all change at times, places and faces, experiences and all influence us. or they do me. Listening or hasty responses alternate and can hurt or comfort. Here you've gone full out, perhaps embroidered or perhaps, just bled your feelings. If the other person had done the same, might the words be similar i wonder. Does excess love, wariness or even weariness enter the equation.. so much intrudes.. if we let it.. perhaps. Your words rip the air,
are tragedy personified..
