Warm Chills

Warm Chills

A poem by Rachel

The sun is up

The snow is soft

No sweat, but warm chills

Up my arms

Down my neck

From the warm sun

And cold winter air

When I look up

To see the sky

All I see is the sun

And dark clouds

Become white

Once they reach the sun

Warm chills

Go down my spine

As I felt the winter warmth

Feeling the sun rays

Upon my skin

Like a kiss upon my cheek

It gave me chills inside and out

That winter sun

And when the day ends

And the clouds darken

No more sun to be seen

I will always remember

The chills that warm chills

From the winter’s sun
