As a Parent

As a Parent

A Poem by Robert W. Kerr
"

Thoughts on being a parent.

"
  1. No matter who you are you are not qualified for the job.
  2. You must make the best and most positive decision for your child even when it's unpopular.
  3. Never belive that you have "figured it out" because someone, something or sometime will remind you that you have not.
  4. Make mistakes, learn from them and take responisbility for them.
  5. Praise the A's and B's as much as you frown upone the D's and F's.
  6. Be real and remember when you were on the other side.
  7. And except the fact that no matter how hard you try you will at some point sound like a parent.
