Femininity

Femininity

A Poem by Robin Thomas
"

"complicated and compelling -- a force to be reckoned with"

"
She's the rain that comes through the clouds, showering possibility--

bursting forth, casting the dark on to the light
spilling her tears on to the blooming flower of life
soaking the ground, with laughter and woe

but dont think of her that way --

She is also the sunshine and rainbows and sweet nectar
that soothes and comforts, as she breezes by
shepherding the light bursting back through.

She is stormy and tempestuous; grand and awesome
forces of nature blow just that way-
settling into all things, sculpting life anew.

never underestimate her power or her grace.
She is the seasons-- and the mother
and the goddess that changes everything

And because She is -- so are we. Harbingers of all that possibility.
