The Road We Walk

The Road We Walk

A Poem by Robin

Enduring obstacles, unending turns
To reach a place of no return

Trudging through
No place to go
Right , left.
Choices, decisions
Life's overflow

I see my path
Can't get there today
Foresight is not my strong point
But I refuse to give up. I must stay. I must try,

The road we walk is not for the weary, not for the weak of heart
We must choose our way, no time for fury
Fury about things we can't change.
Take life's road - travel it well. Forget not the lessons you've learned - just abide.
It's the road we walk with our heads held high with dignity, and most certainly with pride.

Wow! This is a person who is ready to let things be and someone who refuses to worry, because worry is a burden, it weighs down even the strongest. Instead this person is ready to walk and look forward to what is ahead.
