Caduceus

Caduceus

A Poem by Davi Rodrigues
"

I don't know why I wrote this, but I know what it means.

"
If seen from far these snakes are only one
They twist 'round each other wildly
As though they were in mating season fun
Who sees it that way looks idly

A simple glance of one with interest true
To notice that the snakes are hurt
Each of them lacks an eye, and a fang too
What they do here is fight, not flirt

Their bodies intertwined get loose one time
They bite each other on the head
Venom of their kin turns them in bones grime
And none of them was good or bad

The second last line is weird, its rhythm is different from the rest of the poem. Suggestions?
