Silence

Silence

A Poem by Chloe Rose

Silence is sometimes more overwhelming than noise itself,
Enveloping you in a vacuum,
that echoes the hushed sound of your breath.
Each inhale leads to new information desired,
Each exhale expunges another problem,
A poison inside yourself that eats away answers leaving you confused.
Silence is sometimes more stressful than noise itself,
Tangling you in a web of questions,
Entwining you in branches of memories.
Silence is like an endless war,
An opponent that can never be conquered,
One that can only be controlled by the words trapped inside yourself.
Silence can never be defeated,
For it will always follow you,
Like a shadow...
Silence rests on your shoulder,
And will once again capture you in a foreign world,
Than leaves you will more questions than answers.

The flow is actually quite good, i suggest separating this into stanzas. Very nice read, very good.
