It’s Not FairA Poem by lexiabout an controlling relationship
it’s not fair,
you left me destroyed Left in a state of despair I was made to feel like s**t Communication is key, that’s what you said Tell me why you never commit Why did you have to a hypocrite It’s not fair, To be treated like a child Like an object to be controlled, To be left living in a walking nightmare. You left me broken and damaged, Instead of helping me stay whole. Even though, we are no longer anymore Here I stand, walked over Like a wedding dance floor It’s not fair, Everything started off so well Now I walk on thin air It’s becoming too much to bare Sitting here, wondering if I can be repaired I’m all alone, lost in my own thoughts the sounds are too loud, “Why are you so stupid, so unaware?” Happiness was the only thing that was asked for It’s not fair. © 2021 lexiAuthor's Note
