Bear Trap Called Love

Bear Trap Called Love

A Poem by roubique
"

Love hurts. Always. Just give it time.

"
“I’m in love.”

“No, you’re not.”

“What? Yes, I am in love.”

“There is no such thing as love.”

“Of course there is, you’re an idiot.”

“No. You’re an idiot. It’s only chemical reactions.”

“How can you say that? I’m happy, I’m productive, I’m in love.”

“You could also be on speed. Or have just eaten a good meal. Same reaction.”

“You’re an a*s. No wonder you’re alone. I am in love and they are in love with me.”

“I’m not alone. You’re here. You'd give me a kidney. Or a lung. That’s better than “love.”

“You have issues. What happened to you? How can a person not believe in being in love.”

“I believe that if you stick your arm in a bear trap and let it close it’s going to hurt very much."

"You make me sad. Do you really believe the horse s**t you say? Are you suicidal?"

"Because I understand that "love" is as fictitious as "faith" I'm suicidal?"

"Well, what do you have to live for? You are going to die alone."

"You are going to die alone too. We are all going to die alone."

"You know what I mean. You're ALONE alone alone."

"Come here. Do you see this bear trap I found?"

"Of course I do It's on your coffee table."

"Stick your arm in it while I push this."

"Why would I? That would hurt."

"You've proven my point."

"You're an a*s."

"Bear Trap."
