::Oblivious Beauty::

::Oblivious Beauty::

A Poem by Jeanette

Long rows of bushes
Green and neatly trimmed
Pink and purple flowers
Following round the bend

Three story buildings
Clock mounted on top
Cars running in circles
Yet they never stop

Cobblestones and bricks
Lay sturdy under my feet
Perfect in their pattern
They don't miss a beat

Trees defying gravity
Tall stoic and strong
Swaying in the wind
You can see they've been there long

Archways and walkways
Leading you around
To your destination
Where I hope you will be found

People pass on by
So free and easy going
They really have no idea
That I'm writing you this poem

Wow. I like the images in it. How you used nature and ... manmade scenes. Great work and yeah it almost does tell a story

This is almost a story. Those are the best kinds of poems, the ones that tell stories. Nice!
