Old Soul

Old Soul

A Poem by Ryan Riley

I have walked alone for so long.
Waging wars and tempting fate.
I know you are out there,
my eyes have seen your face.
I have waited for you since the start
and I will wait for you until the end.
Darling, how old is your soul
is it as old as mine?
Look deep inside,
there you will find my love
Fighting all my faith to prove you exist
What else can I do,
but wait for you.
I have waited for you since the start
and I will wait for you until the end.
Darling, how old is your soul darling,
Is it as old as mine?

this is a beautiful poem, the hope of finding your soul mate,
I really like this

'I have waited for you since the start
and I will wait for you until the end'.

Thank you for sharing this great piece!

Thank you!
I enjoy the hope of this poem, the willingness to commit to something that isn't real yet. The use of "darling" makes it more personal, but my favorite part is "there you will find my love
Fighting all my faith to prove you exist." This shows how hard it is to hold onto your hope.
