Tick Tock

Tick Tock

A Poem by Ryan Riley
"

Story made of rhymes that just came to me one day

"
Tick tock look at the clock,
At the door waiting to see the face I adore.
Ding Dong its been to long.
Let me in, I forgot my sin.
Tick tock look at the clock
Waited dusk till dawn, I crashed on your lawn.
I awoke to a scream as familiar as a dream.
Tick tock look at the clock
I heard him yell from behind the door.
His voice calling you a w***e.
Let me in, let me in,
now I remember my sin.
A Tick tock look at the clock
I held you in my arms as you past,
knew my life could not last.
I threw myself to the bottom of the cove,
after I lost you my love.
Tick tock look at the clock
Forgive me,
no one can see me.
Just you from behind the door,
Where I go to see the face I adore.
Tick tock look at the clock,
Damn clock remains the same.
Our love separated by a door.
Burns deep to the core, forever and more.
Tick tock look at the clock
Trapped on the outside,
while your trapped on the inside.
Love was lost, at such a high cost.

Some of the lines don't flow together very well. I feel like wording them a bit different would've helped. Other than that not bad :)
