moldy sunlight

moldy sunlight

A Poem by russ

Warmth, penetrating through vast expanses of empty darkness,
Soaking into solid layers of opaque fabric and caressing my very skin,
As if I were naked, outstretched,
embracing the noonday sun.
It finds it's way into the deepest hidden crevices,
It purges the dampest secrets with sanitizing truth,
Cleansing and purifying the obscure birthplaces of countless billions
Of infinitely minute particles of new life.
Sterilizing dark hiding places with emptiness and death.
