Live forever

Live forever

A Poem by Rusty

Across the decades
Leaning in
Fingers entwined
Only to dine
On the heat of the breath between us

Knowing only that moment
That first moment before our kiss
If I could live there forever
Could there be any more than this

Castles crumble
Time has its way
No worry for the 'marrow
Nothing's meant to stay

Oh but to know the memory
Oh but to know the bliss
If I could I would live forever
In that first moment before we kiss
