BLACK LIVES MATTER

BLACK LIVES MATTER

A Poem by Ryan Lee Hughes
"

a look on current events

"

Every morning we wake up to police brutality. We see the Agony.

The pain our Black Brother and Sisters are going through.

Its okay to be mad

I am glad you’re mad, I am mad to.

The Murder.

The Gas.

The Violence.

The Deep unrest that is as old as our nation

BLACK LIVES MATTER

The death of an innocent black man should upset the whole nation as much as it upsets the black community.

We saw a white cop

Murder a black man

In broad day light

On the hot concrete

We saw a serial killer

Take another victim

We need to reconsider

Our entire reality

We don’t live in a society

We live in Anxiety.

We saw a white cop murder a black man on camera.

He knew he was killing him

He knew he was on camera

He knows he is white

He knows he is black

He knew what he was doing

He knew what he was starting

He might go to jail

But another murderous pig will receive training to kill black people.

We need

Dramatic, Systematic

change.

But the

problematic, psychopathic, Aristocratic,

and ruling classes

LLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEE

To see

the Havoc,

the Gigantic,

Manic, Military class

Reek on the People of Color.

These men are trained Human Hunters.

And its people of color season.

That man died for no reason.

The police are evil, they kill people.
