Face

Face

A Poem by sHear

I'm sick of your stupid face
I can see right through it
S**t's hitting me in my head
Rockets of blissful ignorance

With my face of fiberglass
And my spine of rebar
I'm just a construction site
Waiting in line with all the arsonists

I flew away once because I was made of air
I was content with being an ethereal cloud of vapor

I washed away once because I was made of water
I was content with trying to fill up anything

I was invincible once because I was made of earth
I was content with being timeless and immortal

I was a destroyer force once because I was made of fire
Then I was content with nothing

I love it. Totally unique yet gets a message across I really feel. You did amazing work and I especially love some of the images your words conjure up.
