This is my apoligy

This is my apoligy

A by sadjgrey

no matter what i do, how hard i try everything i say kills you inside
its not the same with every page i turn
theres one more reminder of what i worked so hard to learn
with every breathe i breath and every thought it hurts
its far to many memories to ever make this work
im really trying so much harder than before
this is my apoligy wrtten on my sleeve,
taken us all back down to what i once believed
you and everyone and everything you said you told me i was never real
i was just a book you read
so forget my name
and everything ive done
only time can tell if this battle can be won
 so erase the pain
ruin it with love
pretend i never meant a thing and just lie to everyone

this is my apoligy wrtten on my sleeve,
taken us all back down to what i once believed
you and everyone and everything you said you told me i was never real
i was just a book you read

so just keep flipping pages till you find the one that fits
a second never seemed so long so just close the book im done with this
so just keep flipping pages till you fine the one that fits
a second never seemed so long just close the boook im done

this is my apoligy wrtten on my sleeve,
taken us all back down to what i once believed
you and everyone and everything you said you told me i was never real
i was just a book you read
im really trying so much harder than before

I actually very very much liked reading this. Are they lyrics? I especially loved these lines: "So just keep flipping pages til you find the one that fits/A second never seemed so long, so close the book, I'm done with this."
I LOVED that line. I read the comment you left on here about what the poem was about, and then I re-read it, and it absolutely broke my heart. This was incredibly well-written. Wonderful job.

this beautiful, though I'm a firm believer that this word overused, I think it's quite appropriate. Also this line is kind of heartbreaking: "you and everyone and everything you said you told me i was never real"
