With every word she speaks
Every breath she breaths
Every drug she takes
Every lie she tells

I grow further and further away
I deny knowing her
My love for her grows weaker
It all starts to fade

With every guy she sleeps with
With every beer she drinks
Every stupid speech she gives
Every crime she commits

My heart grows weary
The tears grow more steady
The pain grows bigger
The worry buries me

With every fake apology
With every sob story she tells
Every act she performs
Every fake hug she gives

The more hopeless I feel
The more desperate I become
The more stress she causes
The more lost I feel

I love her
With all my heart
And I have always believed her lies
And trusted her stories

But i'm tired of being lied too
I'm tired of watching
Her destroy her life
I am tired of everything

I love her
But she is so screwed up
That i've reached the point
Of giving up....

wow i sure like this one as well! this was such deep and sad work. let concern not be another virtue we trample upon today. i'm glad you love your cousin so much and this was quite touching too. but i must point out that we have no control over others but ourselves, and whoever thinks otherwise are really kidding themselves.

Sometimes when you try to help someone and they push you away all is left to do is give up and just pray!

interesting.... i can tell that you care about her a lot. but i think the more someone messes up, the more they need love, the more they need someone to tell them that they are loved and cared about. i know it can be hard to stay by someone's side during those kind of circumstances, but leaving them or trying not to affiliate with them, might not be the best way to help.

OH, thats sad, you know, loving her so much but finding her not the same girl you have known, but others are right, you have to love her, she is still your cousin no matter how! You cant give up loving her as well! Even you dont realllove her, but you need to lead her to change from thoses.... things she have done wrong!
