United Methodist Church of Sodom and Gamorrah

United Methodist Church of Sodom and Gamorrah

A Poem by Saint No-One
"

A poem about sexual stereotyping and hetero-normality I wrote sitting high in a field in the middle of nowhere.

"

You fawn and f**k before false idols,
you, who who built a pedagoguery
to heterosexuality,
You, mad Templar of normalcy,
Upholding the bright and shining
“American way.”

With your shot-gun-shack,
keg party, pick-up truck,
kill all the f**s mentality.
But the lezzies can stay,
because Hustler says that it’s ok.

I refuse your sick idolatry,
I will not praise your
scarecrow effigy of woman-hood,
her swollen, matronly breasts
and child baring hips spread before me.

Nor will I drool at the feet
of your Aryan Adonis,
man-god-child,
of perfect teeth
and perfect hair.
Appollite muscles bulging,
glistening in the sun.

I refuse to pray in your church,
to your profane religion,
where it is blasphemy
to worship at the shrines
of c**k and snatch
in equal measure.

That through some cruel twist,
in the eyes of another God,
we are sinners.
We, who love freely and well.
Who love based upon no rule
other than that on our heart.

We, like tathagata,
sons and daughters of Aiwass.
The mantra, to “do what thou wilt,”
perhaps perverted, perhaps refined,
for we “do who we wilt.”

About
I am an artist, but my mind doesn't work the way I want it to. One day I'll be, washing myself with handsoap in a public bathroom, thinking how did I get here? Where the hell am I? more..
