A Poem by Sakshi

I regret I didn't meet you earlier,

I regret I was not yours when I met you,

I regret I was touched by someone else,

before I was touched by you...

I regret I didn't admit my love earlier,

I regret I tested you,

I regret I didn't see the world from your eyes,

or see myself through you...

I regret that I acted stupid,

I regret that I hurt you,

I regret that I could never express myself enough,

especially when it was the faith I had in you...

I regret that all my life I waited for  someone special,

I regret that not easily I can have you,

I regret of having so many regrets,

but not that I'm telling them to you...

Use it as a stepping stone. Perhaps in your next relationship you will remember not to regret. All we can do is learn from our mistakes. I like the lines below, but then again you brought up a lot of other note worthy regrets.

I regret I was touched by someone else,
before I was touched by you...

Thank you Brianna for reading it.. and yes, indeed, I have moved on from that phase.. glad about it.
I try not to regret much of anything but that's kind of hard to do. What's really hard though, is admitting that you have them even if you don't want them. This is very relatable and I'm glad I got the chance to read it.

you're welcome
Regret is a painful thing in many ways. But even though you may regret it, something better can happen. I regret many things, but I was able to find a benifit out of those regrets. So think of it as another point too... Very well written, I love it!

Yes, I agree with you. To find something positive out of one's regret is a commendable thing!
