Stomp Me Out

Stomp Me Out

A Poem by samanthaashley_

You threw me away like a half-finished cigarette you didn't have time to finish
Because each one cuts 11 minutes off your life
And I wasn't worth the habit

A cigarette and love. Rough way to treat love. You said enough in the words. Thank you Samantha for sharing the excellent poetry.

Sort of just gave up smoking there.
Straight to the point. Love it.

Ouch. You've crafted a razor of a poem here, I'd feel like utter garbage if I was the target of this dart. Biting and succinct. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

This is so cold and to the point, wonderfully fitting for the content!! Well done!!!!
