Dawn and sunset By Sami Khalil

And at the hour of manifestation;

All lights shed

All times shed

All tears shed

All thoughts shed

Greet the sunset of lamentation.

And at the hour of realization;

All lights shed

All times shed

All tears shed

All thoughts shed

Greet the sunrise of exultation.

profoundly ethereal...

//greet the sunset of lamentation// ~ love!

amazing use of language
and word-play ~
lyrical musings of perhaps dark despair visitations before dawn gives birth to continuous glimpses of hope.
~ another poetic gem
you’ve graced all with.

thank you for the read :))

:)......................
Beautiful in its precise language, brevity and simplicity. Also in the contrast between the moods of the two times of day. And it flows well when read aloud, which is one of my criteria for a good poem. Very well done!

Best of luck. A great pleasure when you do...
How evocative Sami. Hour of manifestation of grief is expressed through lamentation of time that has lapsed, tears that have unduly been shed and thoughts that had been cast; only to give way to new light of realization thereby liberating you to the path of rejoicement, emancipation and exultation.

Beautifully rendered.

Cheers!
M.

I feel like there is an element of this that is other worldly.....like the essence of it transcends all the conforms of time.

You're welcome
a mesmerizing write. the change from night to day and vice versa are very special. sad when night falls and joyous when daybreak arrives. you've captured it so well. the repetition adds to the feeling being conveyed. a changing of the guard so to speak. good write ... :)
