Realization

Realization

A Poem by sansrity sinha

Longing alone in starry night;

I ponder upon the strength of God.

I revisit all I had ever wished,

I recall golden words of Mom.

How right she had been all through;

How true her sentences were,

How foolish I was to take them for granted;

How silly I had been to call it a fairy tale…

All she wished was a beautiful life of mine;

Never did I realize she won’t ever give up.

Always up in my dreams and in conscience;

Although physically seen no where…

Awestruck I am, when I see her words coming true;

May it be personal, or professional;

I see here everywhere,

Each time a wish of her, turns true…

A beautiful dedication to our mothers. Who are our creators, our gods. It would not be too wrong to think they know what would be best for us, though our lives might be separated by generations.

Your mom must have been a lot like mine. Alwazys wanting and seeing the best for her children. Good parents today are a bit harder to find. So many discarded kids in the foster care system. Valentine
