Livin The Dream

Livin The Dream

A Poem by Sarah Lynn

Diamonds and gold.
Oh how I love to hold,
Those empowering riches inside my palm.
Money and clothes,
I love those the most.
The only things that can
Really keep me calm.
Fame and glory.
Nothing more to my story.
Just a big city girl living in a big city world.
With my girls all day and the clubs all night.
Nothin' but thrills forever in my sight.
I'm livin the dream. Envy, all I ever see.
If I were you I'd also wish to be me.

You're welcome :) btw I plan to make my return to writing soon lol
Loving oneself`s worthy than anything else. More we love ourselves, more the world finds "more drops" of love inside us. You`ve written a true piece of your delicious heart. Indeed. Keep loving & writing as well.

Thank you !
"If I were you I'd also wish to be me." Those are some strong confident words! I love this because for once I'm reading a poem about someone who is loving life rather than questioning or hating it. Also I thought the color on the words 'gold' and 'money' was a nice touch, adds diversity and intensity to the words.
Well done! :)
