The New Guy

The New Guy

A Poem by Sarah Lynn

Im not too sure how to feel about you ..
You're young and exciting, something very new.
I could see myself with someone like you for a very long time.
But something just ...seems to be off .. somethings not right.
I don't think you know how to be affectionate or really know how to love.
I feel as though you're new at this and may not be ready.
This is something that tends to really scare me.
I don't want to be hurt again and i don't want to push you away.
I feel as though i may be too needy, a big reason why i think you won't stay.
I guess i honestly just don't know you that well, but id sure like to try.
You're just so different from the rest of the bunch, not your typical guy.
You're still young and reckless, and never too serious about anything.
I guess i will find out how things will be soon enough..Our relationship status is still pending...

Sarah Lynn.

You read guys very well. Play with the kid then turn him loose.

You write very well, impatient to see some of your love in print.
I have a feeling it will be a rare treat.

Thank You,
