Don't hang your head

Don't hang your head

A Poem by Jess Quna
"

A poem for a friend of mine who doesn't seem to see how great he can really be

"

Don't hang your head,

Look up,

Look straight ahead.

How can you find the one,

When you bow down,

Be yourself and you'll find someone.

Someone who will stand by you,

Someone who will hold you dear,

Someone who will fullfill your dreams,

Someone to keep near.

Don't think they're all the same,

We're not you know,

We don't all play a game.

Your feelings are precious,

Just like ours are,

And the possibilities endless.

So look up and smile,

Be proud of who you are,

It might take a while,

Or she might not be all that far.

When you find her,

Treat her well,

Cherish her,

What the future holds,

No one can tell.

I'll be your support,

So believe in yourself,

Because truth to be told,

So do I, I believe in you.
