A Story by sasaleung

Hong Kong has a lot of famous things. But my favorite thing is Hong Kong street food.

Hong Kong street food is in Monk Kok Fa Yuen Street, Yau Ma Tei Temple Street. It has a long

History. From the beginning of 19th century, HK has begun the have roadside stalls, street snack stalls in 1950 to 60 is most vigorous, it is cheap, so children also can use their pocket money to buy. It gradually the inlet because of health. The roadside stalls was begun to enter the shop to stay in business, although no longer in the roadside ‘cart’. But the food is still sold by the street sale of snack, then fore most welcome.

There are many kinds of snacks on the streets of HK, such as egg. Bowl wing, stinky tofu, fish soup, egg ball, checkered cake, fried squid, kebab… Most of them in paper bags or Styrofoam boxes contained, with bamboo sticks or plastic spoon to eat, there have no tables and other equipment.
