Your Silver Brooch

Your Silver Brooch

A Poem by Satish Verma
"

Your Silver Brooch

"
Listening to a grief,
I look at your lips, where
the words sit trembling.

*

Teach me to commit
a sin in return for gifts.
Land wouldn't divide sea.

*

Thirst meets the desert
at the edge of night, where
sun was arrested.
