Paint

Paint

A Poem by
"

Our canvased world..

"
Paint splatters the ground,
claiming it's territory,
making an unbreakable vow.
You'd think it were boasting proud.

And brushes stroke the walls,
quite silently around.
Telling the world,
there's more to say with colors,
than with letters.

The thin paper laid across the ceiling,
quietly peeling it's surface.
And the wind silently sings,
the melody of soothe healing;
The hum of eternal bliss.

A crisp white jacket lays on the ground,
mocking the jet black tiles, '
suffocating it's dark facade.
Everything contrasting;
like a black and white movie film.
Chemistry almost teasing.
No room for a casual mistakes.

A tinge of shade,
and a tint of texture.
Dye immersing the soft cloth.
Rainbows slowly fading out.

Our divine little stories,
become paintings,
on empty canvas'.
Swirls filling the minds,
of small children.

Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
& begin your odyssey..

Nicely written! I like the message it gave out; the diversity of people on this Earth is what makes it such a 'colorful' place (well, that's what I got). I like the last few lines:
"Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
& begin your odyssey.."

This is an awesome, excellent imagery poem. The images all are very vivid and - my favorite word ever - salient. On the flip side, I felt like the theme/meaning/plot (poems have those too) was a bit weak.

The images make up for it, though.

This must be about memories. Seeing isnt believing, believing is seeing. I really like the way this written, my favorite line is definitely in the last stanza somewhere. I love that stanza.

Superb. A Gorgeous poem filled with color, creativity, and diversity. I loved the last stanza of :
"Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
& begin your odyssey.."
You are right everyone should paint their own unique color onto the canvas called the world and who knows, the outcome could beautiful. This is now perhaps one of my favorite poems, I am shelving this one. :)

Ooooh, this is just fetching and adorable. :) Lol. I just love paint. I paint all the time, in acrylic, oil and watercolor. I always seem to have paint all over me, especially me and my clothes. More my clothes. I just love this. Very nice.
