Just like a fish out of water, you struggled to breathe

High school

It's a place where just a bunch of teenagers are placed

They spend 4 years of their lives stuck here

It's a place where you're supposed to figure out who you are, what you want, and what you're going to be

Some people end up losing all sanction of hope

They lose themselves and their clear view of a future

They get caught up with the wrong friends at the wrong time

They do things their parents would be surprised to hear about

And the rumors fly

The insecurity hits

The depression is felt

The breaking point is near

Day after day, they wonder when they're going to break

Some completely lose it

Some turn around and pick up the shattered pieces of their lives

But high school changes a teenager forever, whether you like it or not, and this is the moral of the story;

You're going to lose people who are close to you and possibly your sanity

You're going to make mistakes and lots of them

You're going to do things that you'll regret forever

You're going to find the love of your life and lose them

But at the end of the day, you're going to have to know who you are and maybe this isn't your story or how you would tell it

But this is my story and I'm still trying to write it
