Alone.

i took the advice of someone who reviewed one of my poems. i tried to create a poem based on their directions. enjoy!

A careless winter

Blazes all around

Not a warmth in sight.

Your heart,

Completely bare;

Nothing left.

Memories

And dreams.

You confuse them.

They start to brand together.

You watch the animals create tint tracks outside,

Covering the carpet of snow.

There are so many people around you,

Yet,

You feel so lonely.

Your brain is fuzzy

Are those real souls surrounding you,

Or spirits of your past?

You watch as they smile,

Yet,

No warmth comes with it.

You're all alone now.
