Babysitting

A Story by Savanna Robbins
"

A descriptive essay of this task

"
I watch the children play, as they run through the house. Their faces are constantly changing as they laugh and scream. Their feet pitter patter as they explore each room. The air smells like baby shampoo just poured into the tub, a nice lavender. The taste of the pancakes you made them for breakfast lingers on their lips, and their skin is sticky from the syrup. It's an emotional time. Happy, because you watch them smile. Frustration, because they knocked over a vase. Sadness, because one fell into the trash can. But it's a great bonding time between you and the children. A lovely time while babysitting.
