Answering Machine

Answering Machine

A Poem by Darcy

why does it seem

that it's never for me

when the phone rings

I answer it quickly

but it's always for you

men flock to you like sheep

and then you laugh at them

I want one just one to keep

you can have any other

but let me have one

so I won't be alone

I'd be happy and fun

but no you're too selfish

you can't share happiness

soon I will have revenge

the phone will ring less and less

then it will stop ringing

because I won't pick up

get yourself an answering machine

I've had enough

About
I'm 14 year old girl, and I would like comments on how to make my work better, I write a lot of poems because they come easiest, they flow from me randomly, sometimes I don't even know what they mean more..
