It Ends Here

It Ends Here

A Poem by schnickythep
"

All things must come to pass. That doesn't mean we have to like it.

"
It ends here
This ain't worth it anymore
Is it clear
This must be our last goodbye
Yeah this stings
After all that we'd been through
We had wings
But somehow they just fell away

Things were said
Didn't come out as well as I hoped that
They would in my head
I was stupid an I paid the price
Still it's sad
When I think about what could have been
What we had
Maybe never existed at all

Did you realize I meant
Every word that I sang
Even after it all
fell apart
Yeah and you'll never know
How I wish we could go
Back before there was pain in you heart
Been singin to walls
But the walls don't have ears
All you get is your voice
Bouncing back at you
Try to hide all the pain
But you're going insane
Cause the voice in your head
Only laughs at you

Very nice depiction of isolation inside one's mind. Deep, nice job
