Snow Angel

Snow Angel

A Poem by Scott Eckert

White snow descends, softly, smoothly to the ground

Peaceful in descend, but transforms to a battleground

Snowballs flying all around the place, a hit, a miss

With a side surrendering, ending with a warm kiss.

She falls upon the snow bank, angelic in form

Even unclothed, she remains constantly warm

Flirting with her so much; watching the snow fall and rise

Snow melts with her touch; hearts melt from her blue eyes.

Her passion was in the moment; she has no royal golden wings

Touch of intimate movements; emotions were so invigorating

Looking to her eyes, she turned the gray snowy sky to blue

Looking to the sky, wondering where this snow angel flew.

Nice - a peaceful write. Descriptive yet light. Simple - in a good way. Not so complex I have to figure it out - this one speaks well for itself. The line that grabbed me hardest was "Snow melts with her touch; hearts melt from her blue eyes." Thoroughly enjoyed this write!
