Wraith

Wraith

A Poem by Sean M. Addams
"

It's that time again

"
I'm not of the living or the dead

I'm the evil trying to get inside your head

I suck in all your sins and take your faith

Hello nice to meet you my name is Wraith

Before death takes me I must eat

The flesh of your skin from head to feet

Living off your emotions of hatred and despair

Your only hope is God and prayer

I'm searching for you without a sound

Even from the shadows on the ground

Some call me the ghostly demon in a tattered cloak

As I reach for your life my boney hands will choke

You will become a corpse from my inflicting scathe

In your last breath say my name it is Wraith
