de' Sequoia and Ant

de' Sequoia and Ant

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

Where do we stand in this world

"

Never out of season

Are the Sequoias

Blowing overhead

Even within

Mountainous breezes

At least, from where, I can see them

But, to the ants underneath

In steps as flies within a web

Beneath my feet landing quick or dead

And in parallels

Of grand designs

I am written in between as Zen

And I think "Monty" and Herold the most dangerous sheep, has all the other sheep climbing trees.

A nice little moment in time piece. I've seen Sequoias, so I know what you are talking about...they seem stately in thier nature and resistance to it. The nature feel of this is quite nice.
