Narnia

Narnia

A Poem by Pól

Lush warm blades
dappled wet with morning dew
caress my feet
cleanse my soul

as i set my course

from Eoin's land

to Narnia.

From verdant land to aqueos spa, depart

bidding farewell to Niall

and his nine hostages

to seek an invisible castle

where Uidilín reigns

and Patrick is mourned.

On and on, the march

til veridian fields surrender

to a hillock great

where Shimna flows

through forest green and thick

to the Ocean

On and on, further still

To Borcha's hills; rising rising,  majestic from Sea

 Bearneagh, Commedagh, Meelmore

Binnian,Corragh,Muck

Swimming... across a lake of foxes

to a valley,... quiet,... still.

A glen of priests peering...

skywards, offering homage

to Domhangart.

You make this place sound utterly magical.

you transcend the realm of this world... utterly enchanting landscapes.. fantasy with a natural resplendence, from haunting to adventuring.. harmonies being made in every nuance..
