Sin of the Fallen

Sin of the Fallen

A Poem by Black Rose Seraphim
"

A dark and passionate love story showing that not all love is pure in a way people can see.

"

Sin of the Fallen

I whisper Lies of obsessive truth,

And bear witness to the dead.

For those who fall my darling,

Are those who fly the truest.

As memories of the heart

Bleed through the sleep of oblivion,

Aeons spiral inward

To the blink of an eye

If I touch you Darling, I will know it.

Self-absorbed in agony,

The reflections pale into misty shadows.

A broken mind cannot reason,

A shattered soul cannot bleed.

So pick up the pieces my darling

But beware the jagged edge.

It is a price too dear for you to pay

But the choice is already made.

My heart, my love, I feel you

Barely in front of me

Yet my reach is all too far

As you shimmer in smoke and glitter

And I am faced with only my empty shade

Those who pull the puppet strings

Know all too well the beast they wake.

Forgive us our sins,

For ambition may burn,

And so its flesh will die.

And you my darling will be mine again.

For we are ourselves eternal

So long as we hold what we once were

I like this poem, very deep. The kind I could read over and over.
