Footsteps 2

Footsteps 2

A Poem by Serena Clara

Then I hear another pair of footsteps join me.
They play games in the echoed space;
As if dancing.

We are only walking.

These footsteps know me.
These footsteps own me.
Perhaps more than i do myself.

That scares me.

But trust me, i trust them.

The dancing stops, the echo's collide
then bound together in every stride.
