The Mere impressions of one's existence

The Mere impressions of one's existence

A Poem by passionberry

I watch the bourbon fog
with every intention of covering over me
the sweet mist water hitting against
my ear no shadow of my own
will shine on these black
charcoal grounds where my feet
wish to walk bare I see
a outlet where my pace
will never be fast enough
to get me to the other side
I sense the impressions of someone
who stares at me but im not strong
enough to see in the realm of prosper
my body is in thirst but I must continue
this quest that I was cast
to achieve the touch of existence
upon many the secret to these
words are simple only I can see
my outline im half between
real and hollow souls.
